Annamaria DiSanto’s life has been a remarkable journey. Over the last three decades, she has been one of the entertainment world’s most published photographers. Thousands of her images have appeared in premier magazines and new media outlets around the world, with many major publications recognizing her contributions by naming her Staff Photographer.
Her music photography has documented the careers of influential artists across the music spectrum. Through live performances, studio portraits, album artwork, and editorial assignments, her images have captured the personalities and moments that define generations of music. She is also credited in the prestigious IMDb (Internet Movie Database) for her contributions to movies by Pharrell Williams and Metallica.
Travel also serves as a constant source of inspiration and discovery for Annamaria. Through her lens, she explores the diverse cultures, dramatic landscapes, and unique stories of ports & places around the globe. A true adventure seeker, she has dived 138 feet into Belize’s famed Blue Hole, conquered China’s challenging Via Ferrata, voyaged around Argentina’s legendary Cape Horn, trekked the iconic Matterhorn, skydived across the skies of Japan, and hiked the snow-capped wilderness of New Zealand.
Beyond photography, Annamaria’s artistic expression extends to painting, illustration, and mixed media. Working across a variety of mediums, her fine art explores imagination, emotion, and the endless possibilities of visual storytelling.
Annamaria earned her degree in Fine Arts from UCLA and continued her studies at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California. This deep foundation in the arts continues to influence her unique approach to photography and creative direction. Sharing her expertise, she has lectured on her music and travel experiences, including several highly regarded appearances at her alma mater, UCLA.
